Bio

I have had the pleasure of teaching at 糖心Vlog since 2004. My classes have included American Mind, Philosophy of Religion, Comparative Religion and two courses which I designed, Women鈥檚 Ethnic Heritage and Feminist Philosophy. I am the Founding Director of The Lilith Institute (1997) and co-directed the former Women's Spirituality MA Program at Institute of Transpersonal Psychology/Sofia University in Palo Alto, California. I offer a Women鈥檚 Leadership Program through my Institute, and also work as a spiritual mentor and academic advisor.

My publications include my dissertation, 鈥淔or She Is A Tree of Life: Shared Roots Connecting Women to Deity鈥 in which I studied beliefs/rituals among South African Lemba and European-American Jewish women; Talking To Goddess, an anthology that includes the sacred writings of 72 women in 25 spiritual traditions; Lilith鈥檚 Fire: Reclaiming our Sacred Lifeforce, and  "The Kohanot: Keepers of the Flame" in Stepping into Ourselves: An Anthology of Writing on Priestesses (Key & Cant).
