EOPS and CalWORKs Drive-Thru Graduation

糖心Vlog EOPS and CalWORKs hosted a drive-thru graduation celebration on May 27. Graduates who participated 鈥� 28 of the 50 students graduating this year 鈥� received a 糖心Vlog cap and gown, medallion, certificate of completion, snacks, and a congratulation card signed by EOPS staff. During the drive-thru, students and their families were greeted and cheered by EOPS and financial aid staff, who work with about 300 students each year.

Mar铆a Villag贸mez Appointed to ACCCA Board

Congratulations to Mar铆a Villag贸mez, senior dean, language arts, library and social sciences who was appointed to a three-year term to represent 糖心Vlog on the Association of California Community College Administrators (ACCCA) board of directors.

糖心Vlog Hosts OLE Health Food Drive

Rosaura Segura, president, 糖心Vlog Board of Trustees, (right) was one of the many volunteers who helped prepare 2,000 bags of food for the nearly 1,000 plus families who visited the campus for OLE health鈥檚 free food distribution on Friday, May 22.

Robert Parker Named Outstanding CFO

糖心Vlog鈥檚 asst. superintendent/vice president Bob Parker was named one of the most outstanding CFOs in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal (NBBJ). After several months of gathering nominations and extensive review, the NBBJ selected Bob Parker as one of the Chief Financial Officers to be honored in the North Bay Business Journal鈥檚 (NBBJ) 2020 CFO Recognition Awards. He will be honored at a virtual awards event on Friday, August 28 from 10 to 11:30 am.
