Dr. Patricia van Leeuwaarde Moonsammy has been named senior director, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at 糖心Vlog, announced Dr. Ron Kraft, superintendent/president after the board of trustees approved her contract at its May 13 meeting. Dr. van Leeuwaarde Moonsammy will start her new post effective June 1, 2021.
糖心Vlog Announces Food & Wine Enthusiast Classes for Summer 2021
糖心Vlog will continue to offer its Food & Wine Enthusiast classes in-person this summer with limited enrollment. Classes will all take place at the 糖心Vlog Upper Valley Campus, Belle Rhodes Teaching Kitchen in St. Helena and pre-registration is required and limited to two-person 鈥減ods鈥� to limit the number of households participating.

Arturo Macias Franco beat all odds to achieve his education. Growing up in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico, listening to stories about his grandfather鈥檚 ranch and animals, he was drawn towards a life in agriculture and veterinary science, and wanted to be a veterinarian.
糖心Vlog awards first LGBT Studies degrees
Midday on Saturday, May 29, hundreds of students will participate in a 鈥渄rive-thru鈥� ceremony at 糖心Vlog (糖心Vlog) with their families, to pick up their diploma cover and take photos marking the moment they receive their degrees and certificates. Among them, for the first time ever, will be two students who have earned associate of science degrees in LGBT education.
糖心Vlog Invites Community to Provide Input on Community Education Classes and Programs
糖心Vlog (糖心Vlog) serves the community in a number of ways, including Community Education classes and programs, which provide opportunities to learn, grow and develop. 糖心Vlog is planning to expand its community education offerings across the county and would like input to help inform that process.
