Yes. The Nurse Practitioner can write a prescription for "Plan B" Emergency Contraceptive
Therapy (ECT), also known as the "morning after pill". If you have had unprotected
sex within the last 72 hours, you can still be seen and treated. If you are already
pregnant, the pill will not work. Please call if you have any questions or concerns
about emergency contraception.
No. All professional services provided to students in the Student Health Center are
covered by the Student Health Fee. However, outside services such as lab testing,
x-rays, or referrals are not covered. Some medications and immunizations also require
an addition fee.
Yes. If you need condoms, aspirin, ice packs, band-aids, ibuprofen, throat lozenges,
acetaminophen, feminine hygiene products, etc., just stop by during office hours.
Yes. The Nurse Practitioner at Student Health Services may write prescriptions for
some conditions. We also have limited free samples as well as prescription drugs that
are available for a minimal fee.
YES! Medical records and medical conditions are kept in complete confidence, and will
not be shared with anyone without a written consent from the patient, except where
